Two fishermen got trapped in a storm in the middle of the ocean.  One turned to the other and asked, "Should we pray or should we row?"  His wise companion responded, "Let's do both."

May we always equip our work with prayers and our prayers with work.

Sometimes Lord, when I cannot pray I sit very still with nothing to say.  Nevertheless, I know You are there and I whisper in Your Name because I know You care.  You know the troubles in my mind.  You know my weaknesses and the failures in my life and ever so often my being unkind.  I know that Your Spirit is with me and that You will never leave nor abandon me.
