Finding the Perfect Person

When you are out there looking for that perfect person, keep this thing in mind.

People change no matter how hard they try not to.  As you grow older you mature and with each new level of maturity comes different ideas, different needs and wants.  The perfect person who was perfect for you at 20s could be the person you hate at 30s.  You have to find someone who will grow with you, change with you, laugh with you and cry with you.  Remember there is no such perfect person in this world but there will always be someone who will complete you.

A Sailor's Story

A sailor was stuck in an island where he was the only survivor.  He made a hut for his shelter.  Day and night, he is praying and waiting for someone to rescue him but no one came.  He stored food in the hut for his survival.  But one day the hut was burned down into ashes and nothing was left out of it.  He was so angry.  He said, "God, why have you done this to me?"  The next morning rescuers came.  He asked, "How do you know that I'm here?"  They replied, "We saw a smoke signal."

Trust Him when misfortunes happen.  His plans are always great than yours.

Know What Matters

If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the streets.  But only poor kids do that.

If power ensures peace of mind, then officials should walk unguarded.  But those who live simply, sleep soundly.

If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages.  But those who trust God completely the most have fulfilling relationships.

Know what matters.

Conversation Between God and Man

MAN : God, how long is a million years to you?

GOD : A second.

MAN : How much is $1 million to you?

GOD : A cent.

MAN : Can I borrow a cent?

GOD : Wait a second.

An Airplane Story

A flight attendant began checking the cabin before take-off.  A woman asked her, "Please remind my husband to take his heart pills.  He is in business class seat number 8."  The attendant assured the woman she would.  After take-off, she approached the man in seat number 8 and said, "Sir, remember to take your heart pills."  The man answered, "How do you know I have a heart condition?".  The attendant replied, "Your wife told me to remind you."  The man cried so she asked him.  "Is something wrong sir?"  The man said, "My wife's dead.  Her body is in this plane.  I am taking her home to bury her."

What a great spooky airplane. ^_^

Be Yourself

It doesn't matter what other people think or say.  You don't live to please them.  what matters is, you have made the most of what you have, you had fun, you learned from what you've done and lived through it all despite the gossips and intrigues.  That's being real.  Just live a life fearless of other people's shadows.

Disney Philosophy

Why did Cinderella run away when the clock turned at 12 midnight?

To remind us that everything has its limitations; even our dreams.

My Sister's Wish for Me

May God inspire you when you feel down.  Encourage you when you feel like quitting and guide you when all things become confusing.  Stay happy because that is how God wants you to be.

Follow Your Heart

Find out what makes you happy and follow what your heart tells you.  They may call you foolish but at least you're a happy fool not a lonely, empty wise person.

Trusting God

Whenever you didn't understand what's happening in your life, you'll just have to close your eyes, take a deep breath and say, "God, I know it's Your plan, I put my trust in your Hand."

Life and a Cup of Coffee

Life is like having a cup of coffee.  You sit by the window, lift the cup and take a careless sip only to realize that somebody forget to put the sugar.  Too lazy to go for it, you somehow struggle through that sugarless cup.  Until you discover undissolved sugar crystals sitting at the bottom.

That's how life is.  we don't make an effort to value what is around us.  So look around.  maybe the sweetness you are looking for is closer than you think.

Smile, have your coffee.  Make it sweet.

Chicken Soup For the Soul

Faith is the ability not to panic.

If you worry, you did not pray.  If you prayed, you don't have to worry.

Do the math.  Count your blessings.

Laugh everyday; it's like inner jogging.

There is no key to happiness; the door is always open.

This Blog is NOT About Competing

I decided to make this blog to share all the text messages I receive everyday.  This blog is not meant to compete with the existing best websites out there.  This is my way of appreciating all the senders who wasted their time, effort and money just to send those messages to me. I decided to do it for the purpose of sharing it to everyone than let these bits of wonderful insights lay dormant in the pages of my notebook and at the same time to have more space in my phone memory.  From funny jokes, inspirational quotes and every bits and pieces of messages, I will share it here.    These messages are eating up a lot of space that I have to erase messages in my phone from time to time.  I hate to delete inspirational messages.  So instead of deleting them, I will share them to anyone in this world who would care to read.

For a start, let me share this Chinese proverb that everyone is so familiar with:

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

Why did I share this?  Mainly because this first post is the first single step I am going to take to begin the journey of this new blog.
